Splitting firewood by hand is one of those chores that sounds simple until you are halfway through a pile and your arms are done. This 32mm spiral cone splitter attaches directly to your power drill and uses a threaded screw-tip design to bore into the wood and force it apart from the inside out. The conical shape is ringed with spiral ridges that grip and split as the bit drives forward, reducing the effort needed compared to a traditional axe or maul. It comes with 3 different shanks, so it works with square-drive, hex, and round-shank drills right out of the box.
